Every drop of our Mirachi Merlot comes exclusively from grapes that are grown in our vineyard, on the gentle slopes of Dobrogea, near Histria, the Greek ancient city. Sun-kissed from dawn to dusk and slowly ripened by the cooling breeze from the shores of the Black Sea, these grapes were carefully selected and hand-harvested in our vineyard. Mirachi Merlot boasts a rich scent of black currant, blackberry and black cherry, enriched with full-bodied notes of cedar and oak wood. The first taste is as strong as you usually take in young wines, with a relatively new tannin structure. You might as well enjoy it now as 4 or 5 years later, having a good aging bottle potential to enrich and refine its bouquet. At a serving temperature of 16°-18°C, this special wine is best paired with red meat dishes. Our Mirachi Merlot wonderfully pairs with a local traditional recipe: lamb baked in bread dough with aged hard sheep milk cheese.
