Description
Ammos Rosé 2016 was made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Feteasca Neagra grapes that were exclusively grown in our vineyard. These grapes were traditionally picked by hand and placed in small wooden boxes. White wine production techniques were employed in the wine making process and they include gentle pressing, no pellicular maceration and controlled fermentation at 16-17 degrees. After the primary fermentation, the wine was aged on the fine lees for 4 months to add richness, flavour and aroma complexity.
Ammos Rosé 2016 is a dry wine with an alcohol content of 13.5 degrees, clear and brilliant, of relatively intense pink and dark red hues, no decantation needed.
Ammos is intensely fruity on the nose, spiced up with floral notes, and a distinctive taste of grapefruit and pommel, with relatively medium acidity.
Fresh and brisk, this rosé beautifully pairs with a variety of dishes, from fish and seafood, light Mediterranean dishes to pork, chicken or turkey. For the dessert this wine can be accompanied by fresh fruit salads of mango, melon, apricots or unsweetened peaches.
